my etsy friends ...

after yesterday's post with a link to my friend's etsy shop, i realized i know a couple other cool people with etsy shops! i thought you might like to check out these great sites (complete with a pic of my (current) favorite item they sell) ...

jana is a friend from edmonton, who lives in texas with her hubby and 3 daughters (the two youngest are TWINS). this friendship is a family affair - i knew 2 of janna's brothers when i lived in vancouver, and another here in edmonton (all waaaaayyy back when!). janna is my "go to" girl for baby gifts and her offerings at "teachermom" almost make me want a kid of my own!

amanda is my cool, hip young friend from st. albert - i started out as her mom's friend, but i think amanda has adopted me enough that i can call her friend, too. not only does her store, "spunkyrooster" sell funky jewelry with FANTASTIC names, but she has two hedgehogs - how can you not love a girl with hedgehogs?!?

former roomie from LA, kim, has a fabulous, down to earth, and all around cool sister named lisa. lisa not only writes a sweet blog, but in her "spare time" - do mothers of three actually have that?? - she makes custom stamped silver jewelry with sparklies! her shop, "alittlewhitehouse" has a great variety and you know each piece is made for you when you order - makes me feel special just thinking about it!

so, there you have 'em, cath's endorsements! hope you will check these stores out and share them with friends ... and, since i have shown you some of my faves, you know what to get me for my b-day (june 29th in case you were wondering ...)

I MUST get myself some of those funky rooster earrings! She has amazing things and great prices! And Who doesn't know someone having a baby?! There is always a market for amazingly adorable baby stuff!

Thanks, Cath! You are so great!
