partial transcript of a text conversation betwixt myself and assorted family members:
ME (to ANNE, MEG & MOM): please tell me cream soda will wash out of white denim!!!!
MOM: yes, it will. do you have any club soda?
ME (to MOM): no. but i have CREAM soda!
MEG: WHY do you have white denim?????
ME (to MEG): it is a white denim jacket. very hip. it is NOT a pair of tacky jeans.
ANNE: yup.
i think this demonstrates my relationship with each of these people perfectly. read into that what you will ...
basically, this is a little note to say i am still alive, although a little emotionally drained. group therapy is NOT for wusses. but it is for me. i have been learning a tonne of new things every week and feel i am gaining some great tools for "coping". perhaps before the final 12 weeks are completed that will translate into great tools for "thriving".
while part of me wants to share what is happening, a wiser part of me says it is best to keep these insights to myself for a time. the one thing i will share is this: no matter how broken i am, i can still put myself back together. i ain't no humpty dumpty!!
so, this blog shall be pretty quiet for a few more weeks, but i miss it and look forward to returning when time and mental acuity permit ...
until then, know that the cream soda DID wash out!

I love it when you pop up in my reader. Especially when it has been so long. I'm so happy for you. It's good that the cream soda came out, great that you have a stylin' jacket and FABULOUS that you are feeling in a better place.
I was just wondering where the cyber world you had gone to. . . Glad to know you're still there.
Can hardly wait for your thriving return!
