well, yes, bloggy-thing-y, you are right - it HAS been a long time since we last spoke! here's why and what's up these days ...
it is september. fall is definitely in the air here in edmonton ... except when the sun decides to show up with a vengeance and heat things up for, oh, say 7 minutes and 43 seconds before hiding and letting the wind & intermittent rain cool everything off. overall, i was pretty happy with the summer, even if there was (seemed to be?) more rain than usual. it was a good summer for me. more on that later.
but for now ...
i got all excited planning a road trip to LA to get my stuff out of storage - and (equally important) visit all sorts of awesome people i have met as i gypsy my way from town to town. however, there is a wrench in that plan - a good one! i was cast in a production of "much ado about nothing" by shakespeare and rehearsals start too soon for me to do the trip justice. i don't want to be rushed at any point on this adventure, so it will have to wait a little longer. *sigh*
the part i will be playing is ursula and she is a wonderful, clown-like character who (in my opinion) is a bit of ditz. now, if you are thinking of commenting that it doesn't sound like much of a stretch for me to act like a ditz, just remember - i probably know where you live and you have to sleep some time ...
in other news, i am keeping busy, and i have a lot i want to share - so i committed to myself that i would blog more regularly and do some catch up. hope you will stick around since i have a few drafted posts that i think might tickle a funny bone or two, and a few that i hope will make you think about some issues that are important to me.

Sigh is right. you got me all excited and then whammo! Not coming until later. But, YEAH for you and the play. I wish I could see you act, because I'm pretty sure you'd be brilliant! The bed in LA awaits.....:)

so glad you are alive. if you come to the states it is a REQUIREMENT that you come to utah. i've got lots of peeps to back me up on that one, so don't think you wouldn't be in trouble. also, when is this delightful play? i will most likely be up there in december.
